What Do They Want to Know?

The obvious question this prompt raises is what your values are and whether you’re happy to stand up for what you believe. Whether you have reconsidered your own personal beliefs or asked others to reconsider theirs, it teaches you’ve put genuine thought into everything you value and exactly why.
However, colleges would also like to observe that you are open-minded and able to be fair and kind towards those people who have different beliefs than you are doing. Are you able to question someone beliefs that are else belittling them? If you don’t, don’t talk about this question.
What type of Topics Might Work?
This prompt is truly one where you either have a story that is relevant you never. If there’s a belief or idea that’s particularly important to you, whether political or personal, this could be a question that is good you to address.
The main pitfall with this real question is that lends itself to very abstract answers. It isn’t quite interesting to read through on how you used to believe chocolate is the ice cream flavor that is best then again you changed your brain and decided the most effective flavor is obviously strawberry. (Seriously, though, what exactly is wrong to you!?)
